It’s That Time Again
It occurred to me this morning that it has been quite a while since I shared some of my photos with you so today I am going to show you the last 10 photos on my phone (with a few extra thrown in for good measure). Woohoo! yes, I can hear you shouting out loud already with whoops of glee.. it’s ok I need more coffee; just humour me.
I bought this book last week and read it in two sittings this weekend. I have been on one hell of a journey this year with regards to my health and as promised I will be sharing this with you when allowed to do so; just before the TV programme is about to be aired. All I can say is that this book after what I have since learned makes perfect and complete sense. It is called The 4 Pillar Plan and it is by a wonderful GP called Dr Rangan Chatterjee. I will share the blurb on the back cover with you right now:
“Rangan’s easy, common-sense plan can help everyone live a happier, healthier life’ JAMIE OLIVER
Prepare to change your lifestyle for the better with Dr Rangan Chatterjee’s four-step plan to help you have a happy body and mind and achieve optimal health.
A healthy life doesn’t have to be complicated and with Dr Chatterjee’s small but life-changing interventions – which will change your approach to food, rest, sleep and exercise – you will take charge of your health and transform your life for the better.
“Rangan is revolutionising the way we think about health he will make you feel better than you have in years” AMELIA FREER
He not only gives amazing advice but delivers it in a way that everyone can understand and put into practice. I would love to know how you guys get on with it.
I am putting these two photos together as these two guys are my hero’s. They inspire me each and every day; they encourage me and support me to this day and they both will have my love, affection and support for as long as they both shall need it. You will learn a lot more about these two guys as time goes on and when the TV programme gets shown I hope they make you smile as much as they did me. I can still hear their laughs in my head, feel their arms around me and their spirit inside my heart. You lot are going to absolutely love them to bits; I promise. Can I just say it was an inside joke about being the father, son and mum we aren’t actors – thank goodness. We also had a dodgy uncle and a special niece.
This selfie was taken last week after my haircut. This is the only time I have where I feel spoilt. I love this salon and their staff are incredible. Hamish has been cutting my hair for nearly a year now and he is fantastic. He started using me as a model to practice on and now he has finished his training. I always feel like a Holywood movie star when I leave this place. Another reason why I took this is that my dark circles have almost disappeared; again something that I will go into in more detail at the time of the documentary.
As you can see on the table (just about) a teapot. I mention this because usually, I have about 5 cappuccinos with 2 sugars in each one and with a flapjack bite with each one. I dread to think how many calories were in that lot and sugar. Tea and a little splash of milk was lush. I didn’t think I would ever say that.
A sneaky peek into what will be coming up later in the year and more importantly why!
While away I started crafting again as a therapeutic device but I got so much enjoyment from it I will be taking some of it a lot further. One thing that I started doing was embroidery and will be exploring this not only on fabric but in my art so watch this space for that one. It won’t all be what you are expecting!
This is a video clip of my gorgeous grandson helping the film crew out when we visited him a couple of weeks ago.
The fireplace at our recent cast “home”. I absolutely loved this fire. If I ever get the chance to move house again I hope it has a fireplace. I think we only set the alarm off about 4 times – I hasten to add no extinguishers were needed thankfully.
Recently I had to go to an appointment in York. Got on the busiest train ever as you do and sat looking around. Sat opposite me was this good-looking chap and I thought he just looks like my son and yep it was. Sam your mum is very very special.
Now this beauty I could not resist. This was taken in the waiting area for a medical examination we undertook at a medical university. What you can see is part of a glass panel which went from the floor up to the ceiling adjacent to a door. Infront of the glass panel was pushed a very high filing cabinet and this pencil had obviously rolled off the top of it. I took it to wind Steve “Dad” up as I knew it irritated him; oh the things you do for love. Sorry Steve xXx
I had to put this in there but can’t really say anything yet apart from two members of the crew who I loved to bits. In fact, all the crew were just incredible, supportive, funny and talented. Can’t wait to see the completed thing.
Finally… another one of the TV “Dad” and “Son” enjoying a walk – love this photo
Well, they are enough for today; I have a lot more where that came from and behind the scenes which I will show everyone when I get the go ahead.
Hope everyone had an amazing weekend and hope you liked the last 10 photos on my phone.
Until next time…
Ta ta xXx
