It Has Been A While
I can’t remember the last time I did this so thought I’d treat you to photos from my phone. There is nothing amazing so don’t get too excited. But it gives you a sneaky peak into my life.
Ethiopian Opal Necklace
I made it about 3 years ago and could never put it up for sale because I love it too much. It has never been worn it has just been sitting on the wooden necklace stand. The fire in these opals is just exquisite. Opals are so hard to photograph but these are mesmerising. I’m going to be taking it apart and make single opal drop pendant necklaces with them.
No it is not an entry for a knobbly knee contest before you ask. I actually went flying last week on some wet leaves and hurt my knee and hip. Today it is a variety of colours. Hurry up Spring I’ve had enough of this season already.
I had an allergic reaction to something not sure what but have been on antihistamines for a few days.
Crafty Times Galore
You might find the above photo boring but I love it. It is a selection of threads/cords for jewellery making; I just love the colours together.
Worst Ever Takeaway
You can’t tell by this photo but the rice was raw. It was from Waggamamma and was a treat for my daughter and me (I rarely eat rice these days) but it was disgusting. This photo was taken to send to Deliveroo who very kindly refunded me but I won’t be using Waggamamma again I know that. By the way that slimy looking thing on the top of it was supposed to be a bit of the crispy chicken coating.
I get my milk and eggs delivered to me by a milkman (yes they still exist). They usually leave them on my doorstep. This is the only time there has been a problem but a couple of the eggs were broken and I had to take a photo for the dairy. They were fantastic and refunded and replaced the eggs. That you McQueen’s Dairy.
Time For Reflection
I finally got around to sorting out a meditation space so much better now.
Told you there would be boring. Anyway, I have had so much going on recently I’ve been a bit quiet but I am now starting to sort myself out and create a written plan to get myself a lot more organised. I don’t know about you but my head is always full of ideas and of things I need and want to do I just get so overwhelmed some of it never gets done. So the way forward now is lists, plans and more lists and plans.
Blog Posts – I will be writing at least 2 blog posts a week. I’ve been so busy over the past month making jewellery and other products for my Etsy shop. But now I have the bulk sorted I can get more writing done.
Podcast – I want to carry on with the podcasts but I am at the point it is costing me money now and that is money I don’t have so today I have had to make the decision to cancel my hosting package. I will now be looking into a cheaper way to host this as it was something that I did enjoy doing and I know a lot of you enjoyed them too.
Reiki – I am now in the process of looking for suitable insurance so I can become a mobile reiki practitioner until I can find a suitable room to hire. I will be doing some free Reiki sessions to build up some hours so anyone local looking for some you might be in for a freebie. I will be writing more about Reiki hopefully this week.
Etsy Shop – My Etsy shop “Karma Times” is now up and running and have taken my first order thank you to Bob. I will be adding things all the time and will be giving away special offers and coupons to anyone who follows my blog and subscribes to the newsletters – so watch this space for that one.
Craft Stalls – I will be researching and looking for local craft fairs and stalls, also approaching local gift shops to sell my products.
Coaching – This is still something I will be doing, life coaching and weight loss coaching. I do have 5 people that I will be coaching for free I am still sorting out all the finer details but will let you know when it will be available for other people.
Mental Health Awareness – I am still in the process of collecting poems for the mental health awareness anthology and will be writing more about that this week.
Type 2 Diabetes Awareness – This is still something I am promoting and helping others to put there type 2 diabetes into remission. After my time on ITV’s The Fast Fix groundbreaking documentary, I have been on a mission to help others, and I absolutely love reading all of your success stories.
So I hope you all had a lovely weekend and I will be writing again very soon.
