Day 2 Of Your New Year Resolution To Lose Weight
So how are you feeling this morning? Great? On top of it? You’re going to smash it? If so fantastic but chances are in a few days or weeks or even months you might be thinking the opposite. There may be someone’s birthday at work and there is a nice big fat chocolate cake with your name on it. Whatever it is it will happen so today’s post is all about how visualisation will help you to lose weight.
How Visualisation Will Help You Lose Weight
Visualisation is used by all of the top athletes and a lot of successful people. In fact, there is a great visualisation video by Tiger Woods on Youtube.
I want to share a visualisation technique with you and if you do it properly it will help you so much not just with losing weight but with all sorts of things in life. It is a cosmic law that like attracts like. If you think of negative things then that is what you will attract. You’ve lost before you have even started. You have to think positively about anything you want to succeed in. So make yourself a coffee (black no sugar) and get reading.
I want you to read through the following right to the end then go through it again without the coffee and follow the technique.
Now I want you to do this last thing at night and first thing in the morning. I don’t want to hear any moaning or groaning. This takes very little effort and is extremely effective. Once you have the hang of it it takes a couple of minutes maximum. So not much time at all for amazing results and you don’t need to break out a sweat either.
Time To Exercise The Brian
I want you to imagine that you are standing in front of a full-length mirror. The image that you are looking at is you when you have reached your goal.
Take the time now to really look at yourself. How great do you look? What are you wearing? I am imagining myself in that pair of size 12 jeans. So what is it you are wearing? A swimming costume, a beautiful dress? Think of your goal and see yourself in that mirror. Look at how happy you are, how confident you are, how different you are.
Now, look at that image I mean really look at it. Now take a step into that image. That is now you! How do you feel now you have stepped into that image. Make the colours really bright, make them as real as possible. You look and feel incredible. The new sexy you.. wow what an amazing feeling. You haven’t felt this good in ages but you did it you got there and look incredible.
While you do this whole technique make a circle with your thumb and the third finger; press the fingertips together. This is important.
You need to do this when you go to bed at night and when you wake up. It is important to make the circle with your fingers because with time when you are tempted to eat something that you shouldn’t you can simply make the circle with your fingers and the urge should pass.
Give It A Go
So please promise me you will give it a go, twice a day, it will take a couple of minutes max. If you stick to it seriously, it will help you tremendously.
