Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
First of all Happy Christmas to you all and secondly apologies for my absence. I have been quite poorly recently and I have also been involved with a TV programme that will be aired next year on ITV. Unfortunately, I am not able to tell you any more until the trailers for the programme start.
I know Christmas isn’t easy for a lot of people. It can be a time of reflection as you get older, happy memories of Christmas’s gone past with loved ones. I desperately miss my grandparents; we used to have the best time on Christmas Day, a roaring coal fire, gorgeous food, closest family members, laughs, tears. I have so many treasured memories.
Christmas morning was different for me today. It was just me and my daughter; my first Christmas without my middle son; felt very strange. It was lovely to be with my daughter though and we had fun. She made me a coffee without asking either which was lovely.
So, I hope wherever you are and whatever you are doing your day is filled with love, happiness and happy memories. I raise my glass to those loved ones who can’t be with us today. Happy Christmas.
