One More Day Closer To Goal
I did wake up yesterday morning craving a coffee and bar but thankfully I didn’t have any so had some water, sorted the dog out then had a black coffee. I was definitely more hungry yesterday morning compared to the previous two mornings.
It is only natural your day is going to be full of moments where food pops into your head, dunking gingernuts into a coffee, picking at your children’s meals while cooking them, just having a bit of cake at work that someone brought in for a birthday.
This is going to happen no question of that so you just need to prepare yourself for it. Picture it in your head and picture yourself dealing with it. If necessary have alternatives to hand or plan when you have your meals accordingly. With regards to the cake scenario, for example, plan by having a bar and maybe cut one up to have throughout the day when others are having the cake.

It is important to think about your day and what you are going to be doing and plan it accordingly. Have a rough idea when you are going to have your meals. You will find it easier if you plan to have a meal at a certain time rather than waiting until you are hungry.
Get it into your head at the beginning of the day you are not having a meal until 1 pm (if that is what you choose to do). Set a timer if you need to. But being structured in your day encourages discipline which is one of the key things along with the motivation. Motivation on its own does not work.
You can also use my food diary to write everything in and this will last you for six months.
Make sure you are drinking enough water. This was always a problem for me before The Fast Fix. I now try and drink at least 500mls every couple of hours by setting an alarm on my phone. I also drink at other times when I am thirsty on top of that. Quite often you are actually thirsty and confusing the signals with being hungry. It’s a good habit to get into having water whenever you get that hunger pang.
You can also drink Coke Zero, and the Diet Dr Pepper but try and stick to just one of those a day. I also believe you can get tea infusions which some people like to add to water. You can also add a slice or two of lemon or lime or one of both but no more, also a sprig of mint.
Well done to everyone that has made it to Day 3 you are doing amazingly well these are the most difficult days so give yourself a pat on the back and picture that slimmer you while you do it.
