Day 2 of Week 2
Day 9 of 28 of my join me and lose weight for good plan. It is a bit of a late post today as I’ve been rushing around like an idiot all day. One good thing about that though is it means less time to think about food. So moral of that story is to keep yourself as busy as you can. Gym session this morning went well today so I’m pleased about that. It’s madness how we beat ourselves up and expect physical changes overnight. I need to keep reminding myself about how far I’ve come and in such a short space of time.

The documentary on ITV The Fast Fix: Diabetes gets aired next week and I’m starting to feel nervous about it. I’m quite a sensitive soul and take things to heart. It’s also in my nature to help others and put others first and to help people. I’m your typical Cancerian a tough exterior but inside I’m as soft as shit. Also feeling a little vulnerable as I’m letting the world see me at my worst physically and emotionally. It will be a very strange feeling watching it.
With the way social media seems to work I am expecting trolls sadly but need to accept this as being an ugly part of the world we are living in. I’m so glad social media did not exist when I was a teenager the pressure kids must be under these days must be horrific.
But.. everyone is entitled to their opinions and haters are going to hate regardless. On the plus side at least it means obesity and reversing type 2 diabetes will get talked about and that means a lot to me. There are still a lot of people out there who don’t really know just how dangerous diabetes is. I will be doing a post soon just about type 2 diabetes and it’s complications.

On the plus side I am still sticking to the diet and still not feeling as hungry as I used to. I still need to up my fluids as I’m a bit of a bugger for not drinking enough sometimes. Particularly on exercise days or when it’s hot. So as soon as I finish this post I will be off to fill my water bottle up and get drinking. I have to say I’ve got a strawberry jam and yoghurt bar left to eat tonight and I can’t wait I love the bars. Just need to try and eat it slower!

Not Looking Forward To Tomorrow
So.. tomorrow I have a mammogram. I have never had one before but I have decided that I am going to blog about it so I can share my experience with people who are worried about having one done. I’ll be as honest and as open about it as I possibly can.
