Last Day Of Week One
This has been a long week; well for my tummy at least. But we have made it to the last day of week 1 on day 7 of 28 of my join me and lose weight for good plan. Now I had a bit of a sneaky peak on the scales this morning and I smiled but I will tell you why tomorrow. I don’t know about you guys but I can’t help but weigh myself every day. I know they tell you to just do it once a week but; I’m rubbish I can’t do it. I know weight fluctuates so much and I’m not too hung up on numbers as I prefer to lose inches but I still do it; can’t help myself. Would be interested to find out how many others do it on a daily basis.
Good Start To The Day
I woke up this morning and didn’t feel hungry which is a good start in my opinion. Last night in fact I wasn’t craving rubbish at all and Saturday nights for me usually are the worst so think I must going into ketosis. Woohoo! Love that feeling. Anyway today I had a bit of a lay in and didn’t wake up until gone 10am. First thing was to let my canine sidekick Harvey out for a wee and then stick the kettle on. I had my first black coffee of the day with a third of an exante toffee and nut bar. Why just a third you ask? well I just wanted a nibble with my coffee and because I was going to the gym. Every now and then I like to go to the gym before I have my first shake. I haven’t been to the gym since Friday and was feeling a bit sluggish so I went for a quick workout.
Now I know on the exante Total Solution plan you can only do gentle exercise as the calorie intake is just 600. 600 calories as mentioned yesterday is too little for my lifestyle or should I say new lifestyle. This time last year I couldn’t walk up the stairs to the gym let alone do anything in the gym once I got there.
I just have to say at this point going to the gym is optional but for me it lifts my mood and actually makes me feel more awake. When I first went I would get out of breath really quickly; I’m talking 30 seconds and that feeling was dreadful. I had to take my inhaler before I did anything also.
When I started using the cross trainer my legs would be burning and my heart would be thumping so much I thought I was going to have a heart attack. Today I acknowledge that burning feeling and then just push through it and it goes. At some point it starts becoming pleasurable to be getting out of breath too; it’s a hard feeling to describe. You just feel more alive I guess inside.
Because I was going to do an upper body session today I just did 20 minutes and went on to the weights which is my favourite bit. I am considering doing a course in fitness, health and nutrition as it is something I am becoming very interested in and think it will help members of Harrogate Black Dog when we start having our regular meetings. But… that is a different blog post.
Day 7 of 28 Of My Join Me And Lose Weight For Good Plan
When I got back from the gym I had my first exante shake of the day, Cherries and Berries mmmmm love it. Has to be with cold filtered water but after that work out it was heavenly. Time for another black coffee and another third of the bar – bliss. Today I will be having another bar split throughout the day; a pancake tonight and I will have a chicken breast because I’ve been to the gym. If I get the munchies later I will probably have a handful of raspberries. I was going to do some kale chips today but didn’t get to the shop so will do them next week.
Just a reminder while I am at it remember to drink plenty of water. I’m talking probably 3 litres of the stuff. Thank you for sticking at it and for everyone else it is not too late to join us on day 7 of 28 of my join me and lose weight for good plan. Just add another 7 days onto it.
Below is the link to exante to get access to their great products. You can also use the exclusive code which is only for my readers which is TRACEY40 for all of the meal replacement meals, shakes and bars and TRACEY20 for the rest of the products.
So tomorrow is the official weigh in day and I’m looking forward to it – I think. So will report back tomorrow. Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend. I’m just finishing watching a film, “Who Dares Wins” with the guy that was in the professionals. It’s making me feel so old but I do love a bit of nostalgia.
Catch you all tomorrow
