A BIG Thank You To Everyone
I would just like to say a big thank you to everyone for all of their birthday wishes and messages I was extremely touched by them all. As you know I didn’t have cake in the end partly because I had the chocolate brownie on Sunday and also because I had spent over 2 hours in the gym. Two hours in the gym is a big effort for me and I didn’t want to undo all of that effort for a piece of cake. I knew if I bought a cake I probably wouldn’t have stopped at one slice so instead, I just had an extra Exante diet meal replacement bar; a strawberry jam one and very nice it was too.
Back On The Fast Fix Regime
As you know I gave TS a go last week and decided that I will only be reverting to three products a day as a fasting option maybe once or twice a week; mainly on the days, I do not go to the gym. The rest of the time I will be on 4 products a day and the days I do an extra long gym session I will have a chicken breast or eggs etc. I’ll see how that plan works over the next month and I know I can do this as I followed The Fast Fix Clinic schedule for over 12 weeks.

What a glorious day and it looks like we have a superb week ahead too. A good time to remind everyone to have extra fluids and more if you are exercising too. To get extra fluids I think today I will replace two of the bars with shakes as it all helps with the fluid intake. You could always set a timer on your phone to remind you to drink.

Rediscover Who You Really Are And Where You Want To Be
I want to bring to your attention a book I published earlier in the year; Rediscover Who You Really Are And Where You Want To Be Using My List Of 111Questions. I think it kind of goes hand in hand with my new one as it deals with the emotional side of yourself. This book was initially created for a close friend who suffers with bi-polar, depression and anxiety and had lost his way in life.
Unfortunately, when people struggle with mental health issues you can get bogged down and become extremely unfocused and basically can’t see the wood for the trees. This happened to my friend. I suggested that he wrote a list of things that made him feel happy etc but because of the place he was in emotionally, understandably he couldn’t focus on thinking of any questions to ask himself for him to start this process. Subsequently, that gave birth to this book.
It’s not an answer to all your problems because the answer is you all this book will do is make you think about different areas in your life. There is nothing too scary in there it is just a starting block to get you thinking of ways to start the process of moving forward and taking back control of your life.
Moving forward in a way where you can be more pro-active rather than reactive. Subsequently, I do this with myself; I have a huge list of questions which I review on a very regular basis. I have found it a very positive thing to dip in and out of and hopefully, you will too. On another note I know there are people who just like writing lists and lists of lists; my lovely daughter-in-law and I are both guilty of this. I hope it helps people going through a difficult time to re-focus their thoughts even for a short time.

Back On It
I had my Cherry Bakewell shake this morning I adore this flavour along with the cherries and berries. They are definitely my favourites and have been since being in The Fast Fix Clinic. Bloody gorgeous.
Tailor It To Your Needs
I did think about adding half an avocado to one of them on a gym day as it’s a good healthy fat. Don’t get me wrong I don’t like the things but when they are in a smoothie they actually make it quite creamy with a handful of frozen berries thrown in you can’t beat it. If you are feeling up to it chuck some frozen spinach and also several almonds; no more than 12. In fact, I think I will have one after the gym today if I go. I had a terrible nights sleep I woke up at 5 am and couldn’t get back which is unlike me so the gym is going to be a gentle one today I think. Poor sleep has such a bad effect on your diet I have found; when you are tired like that you tend to snack and comfort eat more; something that I address in my book.

I just need to say that I can’t answer any questions by phone as I just don’t have that kind of time on my hands, unfortunately. Also if I ever decided to go down that route it would then become as a health and wellness coach but that service would then incur a charge. This is something I am considering in the future but a long way off yet and I am still looking at all the different courses that are available.
