Alien Covenant at the Vue Cinema
I have been wanting to watch Alien Covenant for a long time.
It was the first time I had been to this cinema. There were not many people there but the foyer was large with a good selection of snacks etc. We were a bit cheeky and took our own in. I must admit I was nearly tempted with the pic ‘n’ mix but tried to overt my eyes and did successfully. After recently being diagnosed diabetic I thought I’d better not. But it didn’t stop me eating a picnic and a bag of malteasers – tut tut I know you can slap my wrist.
The staff were friendly, helpful and the cinema itself appeared to be very clean. I did not use the toilets while there so can not comment on them.
Alien – Covenant
The special effects were great in the film and I am really glad I went to see it at the cinema.
The story was set between Prometheus and the original Alien film. The main character being the android/robot and the actual creation of the “Alien” we have all grown to love in the remaining films.
You also get to find out what happened to the Elisabeth Shaw character from Prometheus. It left me wanting to watch the original “Alien” film again. So that may be on tonights agenda.
I personally would give it a 9/10.
I saw the trailer to The Mummy starring Tom Cruise which is coming out the beginning of June. Definitely one to go and see.
